Fuel Good Day Pump's Up the Community
November 8, 2023

Legacy Co-op is proud to announce over $12,000 in donations to local community groups from Fuel Good Day 2023!

When community members filled up their tank on September 19 at Yorkton Palliser Way, Yorkton West Broadway, Kamsack, Churchbridge or Theodore locations Legacy Co-op donated 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold to the community partners.
Richard Burym, Petroleum Division Manager says “We are proud to give back from our fuel sales to support local community organizations that are working to address the needs in our communities. Fuel Good Day was fun for the whole family with great food, contests, giveaways and special appearances by our recipients.”

This year the funds raised went towards community organizations in the Parkland area; Yorkton SPCA, Rebel Cat Rescue, Churchbridge Fire Rescue and 103 Margaree Navy League Yorkton.

In coordination with Fuel Good Day each community partner held a barbeque by donation at Legacy Co-op participating locations. C-Stores in Yorkton and Kamsack also sold Helping Hearts contributing additional funds to the donations from fuel sales and bbqs.

Legacy Co-op is proud to announce the following totals:
• Yorkton SPCA received $5048.05 from fuel sales and Helping Hearts and raised $836 in bbq donations
• Rebel Cat Rescue received $1112.25 from fuel sales and Helping Hearts and raised $506.20 in bbq donations
• Churchbridge Fire Rescue received $1000 from fuel sales and raised $801.75 in bbq donations
• 103 Margaree Navy League Yorkton received $1000 in fuel sales and raised $403 in bbq donations

Thank you to the community organizations and our team members for all their hard work. In addition, thank you to the attendees for their support in making Fuel Good Day a success!
